              黑桃spade(♠),紅桃heart(♥),方片diamond(♦),梅花club(♣)

(There are twelve months in a year)。 (There are fifty-two weeks in a year,而撲克牌中的每種花色正好13張,說明每個季節正好有13個星期(There are thirteen weeks in a season)。 (There are three hundred and sixty-five days in a year)。

              I'm not just watch what you do and follow suit.

              He wanted us to believe he was an inspector , but I called his bluff and asked for I.D.

              have a card/an ace up one's sleeve 藏有備用的牌或王牌

              這條習語來自牌戲,打牌時采取欺騙的手段,把最大的牌藏到衣袖里,現在比喻“秘而不宣的計劃,錦囊妙計”。打撲克牌用到的英語。

              To do or not, that's a question

              Having read a sentence from the testbook I bought:

              To moan is the weak's characteristics;

              To do is the brave's choice.

              That reminded me of another famous saying by Shakespears:

              To be or not to be

              That's a question.

              To do it

              That's my choice.
